Job Title: Core Software Engineer

Electronic Arts is seeking a highly skilled Core Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with designers, producers, and other engineers to create innovative UI/UX features.
  • Write high-quality code following established engineering practices and coding standards.
  • Develop and refine UI/UX prototypes to meet project requirements.
  • Design and implement production-level UI/UX subsystems.
  • Write software requirements and technical specifications.
  • Provide accurate time estimates for tasks and projects.
  • Implement production-level game UI/UX subsystems.
  • Optimize code for performance and efficiency.
  • Document designed and implemented components.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of programming experience.
  • Proficiency in C++.
  • Understanding of game design principles.
  • Experience with core UI principles, best practices, and accessibility.
  • Desktop development experience required.
  • Experience with prototype development and consumer-oriented UI systems.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine is a plus.
  • Experience with mobile platforms is a plus.
  • Experience building UI systems for multi-platform games and apps.
  • Experience with multiple UI frameworks.
