Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to clients with hearing, communication, and related disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnoses for clients with hearing, communication, and related disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Provide guidance and education to Speech Language Assistants and patient's family, friends, and caregivers
  • Participate in promotion of early intervention activities and prevention of communication and related disorders
  • Attend and participate in team conferences and interdisciplinary/interdepartmental program meetings
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved school of Speech Language Pathology
  • One year recent related clinical experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Current active registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC
  • Eligible for membership in the Canadian and/or BC Association of Speech/Language Pathology and Audiology (CASLPA and/or BCSLPA)
  • Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for work-related purposes
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, and will be expected to maintain effective working relationships with others both within and outside the organization.
