About the Role:
The Department of Medicine at McMaster University invites applications for an Academic Emergency Physician. This is a full-time faculty position for a period of three years, renewable. Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the academic mission of the Faculty and Division of Emergency Medicine.
- Participate in undergraduate and/or postgraduate education and contribute to departmental and divisional educational activities.
- Be a full-time member of the Division of Emergency Medicine.
Requirements:
- Certification (or eligibility for certification) by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC or equivalent) in Emergency Medicine.
- Licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in the Province of Ontario.
- At least 2 years of experience as of October 1, 2024, as an Academic Emergency Physician.
