Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Peace Villa in Fort St. John, BC. As a LPN, you will work in a client-centered care model, providing compassionate patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply nursing process, perform assessments, and develop care plans for patients
  • Provide nursing care and may direct other staff members
  • Work in accordance with the expected competencies, scope of practice, and standards of practice as outlined by BC College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Support clients and families to achieve and maintain optimal health
  • Rotate shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends
Requirements
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
  • One year of recent, related acute care or residential experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills within a specific clinical specialty or patient population
  • Ability to communicate effectively, assign care, and share knowledge with the multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
