Role Overview
As a Store Manager, you represent our commitment to engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them to the most suitable products. Through dedicated and passionate leadership, you will inspire and develop your team to deliver memorable and inclusive customer experiences that enhance overall store performance.
In this full-time on-site role, which includes some weekend shifts, you will oversee budgeting, store-specific marketing initiatives, and the expansion of the store's clientele, while orchestrating the daily operations of a team of Retail Consultants. The ideal candidate will possess a professional demeanor, demonstrating diligence, enthusiasm, and a steadfast commitment to excellence.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in management within a customer service setting
- Proven success in sales and the ability to drive commercial results
- Capability to effectively introduce Aesop products to clients through hands-on demonstrations
- A track record of successfully leading and mentoring a team, fostering an inclusive and psychologically safe work environment
- Demonstrated empathy in managing interpersonal relationships
- An open mindset with a strong curiosity to understand others, listen without judgment, and act on diverse viewpoints
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, commercial insight, and merchandising abilities
- Familiarity with the skincare industry is advantageous
- Knowledge of hair care, body care, fragrance, and home categories is a plus
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly the Microsoft Office suite
- Candidates must be available for a 40-hour work week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
