Senior Air Quality Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Air Quality Engineer to join our team at Dillon Consulting. As a key member of our environmental consulting group, you will be responsible for managing air quality projects, providing technical support to junior staff, and developing business development activities related to air quality services.
Responsibilities- Manage air quality projects for facilities, transportation projects, and land use compatibility assessments, ensuring compliance with federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations.
- Develop clear, science-based approaches to meet client expectations, providing technical support to junior and intermediate level staff on project work.
- Provide technical oversight and reviews of regulatory projects, including ECAs, EASRs, and EAs.
- Coordinate and implement business development activities related to air quality services, working with client managers and business unit leads to identify and pursue opportunities.
- Contribute to Dillon's corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees.
- A degree in environmental, chemical engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Designation with Professional Engineers Ontario.
- 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related experience in air quality.
- Demonstrated relationship with local regulators through project delivery.
- Experience in air quality related work, including an understanding of federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations.
- Experience preparing emission summary and dispersion modelling reports (ESDMs) and other air impact assessments.
- Demonstrated abilities in project teamwork, team leadership, and client relationship building.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in an environment that provides quality, solution-oriented consulting services.
