About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Mechanic to join our team at 2000007 Ontario Inc. as a Maintenance and Repair Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical equipment, including testing and observing conditions, troubleshooting, and repairing motors, transformers, switchgear, and other electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Repair and Replacement: Troubleshoot and repair faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear, and replace or recondition parts as needed.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance.
  • On-Site Servicing: Perform on-site servicing and repair of electrical equipment, including machining tools to fabricate or recondition parts.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Setting: Maintenance, repair, testing, and service of electrical equipment.
