About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chemical Research Scientist to join our team at GL Chemtec International Limited. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for conducting research into the synthesis and properties of chemical compounds and the mechanisms of chemical reactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Research: Design, plan, and execute research projects to develop new chemical compounds and processes.
  • Develop and Implement New Processes: Develop and implement new processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our research and development activities.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with colleagues from various departments to ensure that research projects are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Supervise and Mentor: Supervise and mentor junior researchers and provide guidance and support to ensure their success in their roles.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of chemistry and apply this knowledge to our research and development activities.
Requirements
  • Education: A doctorate degree in chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a research and development role, preferably in the chemical industry.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of chemical principles and practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
