Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Attendant to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for receiving, processing, and shipping merchandise and packages in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process deliveries, verifying inventory and completing reports and logs
  • Stage merchandise by department, mark for placement, and deliver to appropriate departments
  • Verify and track received inventory, reconcile shipping invoices, and ensure count accuracy
  • Secure the receiving room and its contents, following hazardous material shipping guidelines and regulations
  • Ship outgoing mail and packages, verifying quantity and condition prior to delivery
  • Maintain accurate tracking systems and communicate with guests regarding received packages
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • No related work experience required
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Related work experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
  • Supervisory experience
  • License or certification in a relevant field
