Program Associate

The J.W. McConnell Foundation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Associate to support the smooth functioning of our funding processes. As a key member of our Programs Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our funding timelines are on track, and our applicants receive the support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date funding management tracking tools, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations Department and Funding Team to ensure the funding management database (Fluxx) is current and accurate.
- Coordinate payments and communicate with applicants, providing support from inquiry to submission to reporting.
- Support the preparation of acceptance and declination letters, as well as other correspondence with partners.
- Contribute to the development and dissemination of internal and external communications related to our granting.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a funding or grant management role.
- Experience with online databases, such as Fluxx, is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Functional bilingualism in English or French, with excellent oral and written skills.
