Director of Product Innovation

Skjodt-Barrett Foods Inc is seeking a seasoned leader to drive product innovation and development as a Director of Product Innovation. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role will lead cross-functional teams in the technical aspects of product development, from investigation to execution and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective systems and procedures to manage multiple projects in the sales and innovation pipeline.
- Guide the team in meeting operational standards for quality, cost, food safety, and sustainability.
- Lead new ingredient research and technological advancements to integrate the latest food technologies in products for the market.
- Ensure all new and existing products meet regulatory requirements, quality standards, and customer specifications.
Requirements:
- Background in Food Science and experience in the food processing industry, specifically in product design and development.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and creating and implementing product development strategies.
- Ability to work in a high-speed manufacturing facility and participate in trials.
- Strong technical knowledge of ERP systems (D365 or SAP) to contribute to driving material demands and production planning.
