We're an award-winning company that truly cares about our people. As a Diesel Mechanic - Customer Equipment Solutions (Service Tech III - CES) at United Rentals, you'll use your skills to perform maintenance and complex repairs on customer-owned equipment in a safe and professional manner.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of complex customer-owned equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of work performed, including electronic records and paperwork.
  • Upsell and demonstrate complex equipment to customers, showcasing your expertise and building strong relationships.
  • Travel to customer job sites for repair and maintenance, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Assist with equipment pick-up and delivery, as well as parts ordering and inventory management.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the success of our Service Department.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • 3-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining equipment and tools.
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of construction equipment and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to lift items up to 45 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

This position is deemed Safety Sensitive and requires a strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
