Mechanic - Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at United Rentals. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and complex repairs on customer-owned equipment in a safe and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of complex equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including paperwork and electronic documentation.
- Upsell and demonstrate equipment to customers, highlighting the benefits of our products and services.
- Travel to customer job sites as needed to perform repairs and maintenance, ensuring that our equipment is in top working condition.
- Assist with the delivery and pickup of equipment and parts, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 3-5 years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools.
- Knowledge of construction equipment and strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines.
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 pounds.
