Creekside Accounting Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Technician to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and general journals.
- Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Accounting Tasks: Post journal entries, prepare trial balances, and maintain financial statements.
- Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
The successful candidate will work independently, with attention to detail and under pressure. They will be a team player with excellent judgement and organizational skills.
