Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Clerk to manage stock levels and ensure efficient operations within our industrial facility. This role is essential for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting our manufacturing processes.

Employment Details
  • Job Duration: Temporary

  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role
Work Environment
  • Conditions: Dusty and noisy surroundings
  • Location: Urban industrial area
Key Responsibilities
  • Store items in designated areas such as warehouses or supply rooms
  • Process incoming requisitions and prepare orders for replenishment
  • Maintain accurate records in the inventory control system
  • Issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use
  • Receive, unpack, and sort incoming materials
  • Identify, label, and catalogue received items
  • Manage shipping and delivery of parts and products
  • Prepare and track work orders efficiently
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in inventory control software
  • Experience operating industrial lift trucks and forklifts
  • Familiarity with pallet lifters and manufacturing equipment
Safety and Security
  • Must pass a criminal record check
Transportation Requirements
  • Own transportation is necessary
Physical Demands
  • Ability to distinguish colors and pay attention to detail
  • Capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and handle tight deadlines
  • Requires good hand-eye coordination and the ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Must be able to lift weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
