Join Our Team as a Pre-Apprentice Student

At Tri-Mach Group Inc., we are committed to providing our employees with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the skilled trades. Our Pre-Apprentice Student program is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of the skilled trades, including Millwrighting, Fabrication, and Machining.

Program Overview

Our 3-month program combines foundational training, hands-on practice, and on-the-job rotations. You will gain a solid understanding of the skilled trades and develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in your chosen trade.

What You'll Gain

  • 6 weeks of in-class theory training, covering the fundamentals of skilled trades combined with hands-on labs
  • 6 weeks on-the-job rotation, where you'll shadow professionals in various skilled trades in our shop and field environments
  • Opportunities to discover what sparks your passion and ignite your enthusiasm in the skilled trades
  • Training from experienced professionals who will guide you every step of the way
  • Valuable skills and knowledge that will set you up for success in your chosen skilled trade

Requirements

  • Completion of High School or equivalent
  • Safety first mindset
  • Desire to pursue a career in the skilled trades
  • Basic hand tool knowledge
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • You have a get it done attitude
  • Excellent time management and ability to focus on task at hand
  • Strong attention to detail
