At Tri-Mach Group Inc., we're passionate about providing state-of-the-art machinery and innovative solutions to our communities' most vital industries. As a Pre-Apprentice Student, you'll participate in our Skilled Trades Accelerator Bootcamp, a unique 3-month program that combines foundational training, hands-on practice, and on-the-job rotations.

What You'll Gain:

Upon successful completion of the Skilled Trades Accelerator Bootcamp, you'll have the opportunity to receive an offer for a Pre-Apprenticeship role where you'll focus on your chosen trade and continue to develop your skills. Our program is designed to give you a head start in your career, preparing you for a future in the skilled trades.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Learn the foundations necessary to be successful in the skilled trades in our onsite classroom
  • Participate in a job rotation covering Fabrication, Machining, and Millwrighting
  • Learn essential health and safety skills
  • Learn Equipment Standard Operating Procedures, including Deburring, Weld Cleaning, Bead Blast, Bandsaw, Laser Cutting/Brake Press, Machining/Router, Welding, Fabrication, Assembly, Millwrighting, and more
  • Always conduct oneself in a professional manner in alignment with Company values, including language use, attire, and workmanship
  • In accordance with Company policy and relevant employment legislation, overtime and work outside of regular hours, and being on call may be required at the discretion of the Company
  • All other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Completion of High School or equivalent
  • Safety first mindset
  • Desire to pursue a career in the skilled trades
  • Basic hand tool knowledge
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • You have a get it done attitude
  • Excellent time management and ability to focus on task at hand
  • Strong attention to detail
