Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain software packages and patches to ensure system stability and security.
  • Develop and implement automation solutions using Ansible and other tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve critical service issues and provide timely communication of issues and points of interest.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units to ensure a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency of the business unit and/or team.
  • Implement targeted and controlled remediation plans to address root causes of issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, best practices, and new innovations in technology to make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or technical certificate in computer science or related discipline.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in Linux patching and automation.
  • 2-4 years of experience with Ansible, Bash, Python, and other relevant tools and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking, and security.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
