Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Assistant to join our team. As an Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse needs, promoting inclusive learning environments, and contributing to the overall success of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to students with diverse needs, including those with special needs, English language learners, and students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Assist teachers in creating and implementing lesson plans, preparing materials, and maintaining a safe and organized learning environment.
- Support students with daily living skills, such as personal care, mealtime, and mobility assistance.
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with diverse needs.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with students with diverse needs, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the role, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
