About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Associate Director of Outreach and Community Engagement to join our team at Evergreen Treatment Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission to transform the lives of individuals and their communities through innovative and effective addiction and social services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Program Development: Provide strategic leadership and direction to our Outreach team, overseeing the development and implementation of programs and services that address the needs of individuals experiencing homelessness and behavioral health conditions.
  • Community Engagement and Partnerships: Foster and maintain strong relationships with community partners, including business, provider, and governmental partners, to support our mission and vision growth.
  • Program Management and Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Outreach team, including managing budgets, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze and interpret data to inform program development and implementation, and provide regular reports to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Staff Development and Training: Provide training and development opportunities to staff, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Crisis Response and Intervention: Provide crisis response and intervention services to clients and staff, as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Public Health, Social Work, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years working in positions related to community outreach, public health, social work, or related areas, with at least 5 years in progressively increasing leadership roles providing direct supervision.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong understanding of racial justice and social equity, with a commitment to creating an equitable environment for all clients and staff. Excellent leadership, program oversight, and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of leading teams to achieve successful programmatic outcomes.
