Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian I to join our team at Providence Health Care. As a key member of our clinical nutrition team, you will be responsible for providing expert nutrition care to patients and residents, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate nutritional status and develop personalized care plans for patients and residents.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and families on nutrition-related topics.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in research activities.
  • Supervise students and dietetic interns, and provide clinical education and training.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition from a recognized university, a dietetic internship from an accredited program, and current registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia (CDBC). You will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
