Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for our employees.
Responsibilities
- Assist management with the development and implementation of a safety management system aimed at preventing and controlling losses.
- Participate in incident prevention activities, including inspections, observations, and incident investigations.
- Act in an advisory capacity to management and may serve as a liaison with governmental agencies as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with applicable health and safety regulations and standards.
- Provide training and education on health and safety procedures to employees.
- Investigate accidents and incidents and develop strategies to prevent reoccurrence.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and safety management software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

This is a permanent full-time Monday to Friday position.
