Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at The Market Bistro. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and improve daily operations to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor and manage staff performance, providing coaching and feedback as needed
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of restaurant staff
  • Set and manage staff work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and minimize labor costs
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to help them grow and develop in their roles
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the restaurant maintains a clean and safe environment for customers and staff
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1-7 months of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
