Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Financial Controller for a prominent manufacturing group situated in the East of Montreal. This role is crucial for overseeing financial operations across multiple factories.

Main Responsibilities:
- Execute operational accounting tasks, including month-end processes for various factories, to provide the Chief Factory Controller with accurate cost data.
- Maintain the integrity of the inventory system to ensure that product cost prices and physical inventory levels are consistently accurate.
- Validate that all operational systems are effectively aligned to deliver precise and timely inventory information.
- Ensure that factory overhead costs are accurately calculated and periodically reviewed, with correct implementation in our systems.
- Lead the implementation of controls and contribute to enhancing the inventory management system.
- Conduct various end-of-month analyses, including variance analysis against the budget.
- Serve as a key resource for plant stakeholders, addressing financial inquiries and generating necessary reports.
- Actively engage in operational meetings.
- Develop and monitor the factory budget, providing insights into variances.
- Oversee Capex reporting and manage issues related to factory assets.
- Manage information and oversight of municipal taxes.
- Continuously strive to enhance the internal controls in place.

Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting and a CPA designation.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a factory controller role.
- Extensive background in a manufacturing environment.
- Significant experience with integrated systems such as Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, or JD Edwards (experience with JD Edwards is a plus).
- Proven experience working with multiple satellite systems and ERP interactions.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Essential bilingualism is required.
