About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address patients' occupational performance needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide patient-centered care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement interventions to promote patients' independence, mobility, and overall well-being.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers to promote healthy habits and lifestyle changes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia-approved program in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.
  • One year of recent related experience in occupational therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
