As a valued member of our team at Save-On-Foods, you will play a vital role in delivering quality patient care in our pharmacy department. Our pharmacy teams are passionate about helping our customers and communities achieve healthier lifestyles.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at our Parksville, BC location. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Receiving written prescriptions and refill requests, and accurately inputting patient and prescription information into our computer system.
- Performing tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, as well as conducting expiry date checks and inventory corrections.
- Communicating effectively with pharmacists and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Providing excellent customer service and adhering to our company's operational procedures and policies.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years of dispensary experience.
- A strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Kroll computer experience is an asset.
