Job Title: Senior Communications Advisor

AECL is seeking two Senior Communications Advisors to join our team in Ottawa or Chalk River, Ontario. As a Senior Communications Advisor, you will play a key role in developing and implementing communications strategies to support AECL's mandate and objectives.

About the Role:

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing communications strategies to support AECL's mandate and objectives
  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including Indigenous nations and communities, government departments, and local municipalities
  • Coordinating and executing a range of meetings, activities, and events to support AECL's communications objectives
  • Providing advice and guidance on communications and engagement matters to AECL's leadership team
  • Developing and maintaining a range of communications materials, including reports, briefings, and talking points
