Warehouse Associate/Equipment Operator

About the Role

Global Industrial is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Associate/Equipment Operator to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of products throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a Cherry Picker and/or Reach Truck to fill customer orders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Utilize an RF scanner gun to accurately identify and retrieve products for customer orders.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare them for shipping or packing.
  • Assist the Receiving Department with unloading new merchandise from trucks as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Inventory and Returns Department to ensure accurate inventory levels and efficient returns processing.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Previous experience operating a Reach Truck and/or Cherry Picker is required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in a Warehouse environment is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with material handling equipment is required.
  • Previous experience utilizing an RF Scanner is required.
  • Ability to lift products weighing up to 75 lbs on a continuous basis in a productive environment.
  • Able to stand, walk, pull, and bend 100% of the day in a fast-paced environment.
