Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pharmacy Aide to join our team at Ontario Inc. As a Pharmacy Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy staff in maintaining accurate records, preparing and labeling pharmaceutical products, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products with precision and accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of medications and prescription records.
  • Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Advise customers on the selection and use of non-prescription medication, providing clear and concise information.
  • Check prescriptions for proper dosage and ensure accurate billing charges.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with tasks and responsibilities as needed.
  • Place stock on shelves and maintain a well-organized inventory system.
  • Order and maintain stock of pharmaceutical supplies to ensure a smooth operation.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a pharmacy or drugstore setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Reliability, accuracy, and dependability are essential for this role.
