The Culinary Services Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing food preparation and service operations at Samra Kahlon Inc O/A Wok Box. This position requires a blend of leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to quality.
Educational Requirements- Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
- Develop and implement effective work schedules to optimize productivity.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff engaged in food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Recruit and hire personnel for food service roles.
- Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Prepare financial budgets and cost estimates for food services.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Compile and submit regular reports on operational performance.
- Possess a strong understanding of the culinary styles offered by the establishment.
- Oversee the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
- Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervision of a small team, typically comprising 1 to 2 individuals.
Work Environment- Fast-paced and dynamic work setting.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Flexibility in adapting to changing situations.
- Team-oriented mindset, fostering collaboration among staff.
- Minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience in food service management.
- This is a permanent position with full-time hours ranging from 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Work language: English.
