About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Mechanic to join our team at 2000007 Ontario Inc. as a Maintenance and Repair Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment, and perform static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors to ensure proper functioning.
  • Component Replacement and Fabrication: Replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators, and other components, and use machining tools to fabricate or recondition parts as needed.
  • On-Site Servicing and Repair: Perform on-site servicing and repair of electrical equipment, including testing and repairing or replacing faulty wiring or components.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
