Forklift Operator and Production Support

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-oriented individual to fulfill the role of Forklift Operator and Production Support. This position is essential to maintaining the efficiency of our operations and ensuring that production runs smoothly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Efficiently transport and distribute production racks to meet operational timelines.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials, components, and packaging to designated production areas.
  • Manage the distribution of re-worked parts to appropriate load zones as required.
  • Uphold FIFO (First In, First Out) standards by organizing raw materials in the order received.
  • Deliver finished products to shipping zones in accordance with shipping protocols.
  • When not operating the forklift, assist on the production line to meet operational demands.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by the shift Supervisor.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

MINIMUM EDUCATION /OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • A secondary school diploma or equivalent is required.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a forklift operator is necessary.
  • Previous experience in a dynamic manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • A valid forklift operator's license is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days and afternoons.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities as necessary.
  • Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary, as the location is not accessible via public transit.
