Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recreation Assistant to join our team. As a Recreation Assistant, you will play a key role in planning and delivering a diversified recreation program that meets the emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, and physical needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of recreation programs, events, and activities that promote socialization, engagement, and overall well-being among residents.
  • Collaborate with the recreation team to develop and implement program schedules, budgets, and evaluations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as dining, housekeeping, and maintenance, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, respect, and open communication among colleagues.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a recreation department or a related field, preferably in a hospitality or healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Certificate or diploma in a field related to leisure, fitness, or recreation, or working toward one.
  • Accountability and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
