Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Room Attendant to join our team at Brentwood Bay Resort. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, handle and report lost and found items, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Pick up debris and empty trash containers, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Transportation and Travel: Own transportation is required, and public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, initiative, organized, reliability, and team player.
