Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Room Attendant to join our team at Brentwood Bay Resort. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, pick up debris and empty trash containers, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Transportation and Travel: Own transportation is required, public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, initiative, organized, reliability, team player.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in this field of employment.
