About the Role

Flynn Group of Companies, a leading trade contractor in North America, is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Application Technical Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Support and Application Maintenance
    • Provide technical support and maintenance for our COTS applications, including Dynamics SL 2015, Remote Desktop Services, Perceptive Content, SAP SuccessFactors, HardCat, and xCart.
    • Develop and implement strategies to address problem areas with core solutions, including continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Project Management and Optimization
    • Develop and implement project plans and strategies to ensure timely completion of projects.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to determine enhanced offerings for current and future system functionality.
    • Collaborate with the Project Management Office to ensure project plans and work demands are realistic and deadlines are met.
  • Data Quality and Security
    • Evaluate data quality issues and determine methods to improve system accuracy.
    • Develop and implement strategies to maintain accurate data and prevent data quality issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Strong customer service focus with demonstrated skills in supporting users to address issues and concerns.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows servers and services, MSSQL database management, and PowerShell/batch scripting.
  • Ability to learn and use a variety of software applications, including JIRA, Confluence, and Zendesk.
