About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Scientist to join our team at IBM. As an AI Scientist, you will be responsible for designing and developing AI solutions using our watsonx platform. Your primary responsibilities will include developing Proof of Concept (POC) developments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and overseeing the implementation and deployment of AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop POCs to validate and highlight the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed AI solutions
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement and iterate on POCs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and expectations
  • Oversee the implementation and deployment of AI solutions, working closely with development teams to ensure adherence to best practices, quality standards, and performance requirements
  • Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of AI solutions, including foundation models and large language models
  • Act as a technical point of contact for customers, addressing their questions, concerns, and feedback
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field
  • Designing and delivering AI solutions using foundation models, large language models, and open-source technologies
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Hugging Face
  • Understanding of machine learning and deep learning algorithms, as well as natural language processing and text analytics
  • Experience collaborating closely with customers, understanding their needs, business objectives, and translating their requirements into effective AI solutions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Comprehensive familiarity with IBM's offerings and products
  • Bilingualism (English/French)
