- Adheres to Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions (SMR) safety protocols along with relevant governmental, client, or industry standards.
- Recognizes and reports any hazardous work practices.
- Aims to discover safer methodologies for clients utilizing Sandvik's offerings.
Quarterly Duties
- Internal reporting of current and deferred taxes to Group Tax.
- Evaluation of quarterly tax provisions across all entities within the legal organization.
- Coordination of tax provision transfers.
- Preparation of all documentation for the annual corporate tax return.
- Gathering of information for transfer pricing documentation.
- Main liaison and information source for tax audits.
- Reporting tax audit findings to Group Tax.
- Consulting with Group Tax on unusual transactions.
- Providing assistance on tax issues to stakeholders within the legal entity and associated entities.
- Control Owner for tax-related internal controls.
- Oversee bank administration for sub-cash pool, including opening/closing bank accounts, maintaining signing authorities, and managing user access to banking platforms.
- Collaborate with entities to project cash needs.
- Manage foreign exchange risks.
- Calculate annual dividend distributions.
- Coordinate incoming dividend receipts.
- Ensure the company maintains adequate capitalization through appropriate cash and investment levels.
- Assist acquired entities in joining the cash pool.
- Supervise the corporate credit card program.
- Control Owner for treasury-related internal controls.
- Supervise insurance operations.
- Manage insurance renewal processes.
- Strong focus on customer service.
- Exceptional communication abilities.
- Capability to function within an integrated, diverse team.
- Self-motivated with meticulous attention to detail.
- High-level time management and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Publisher.
- Comfortable operating within a matrix organization.
- 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in a sales/distribution or corporate environment.
- Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration or Finance.
