We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Farm Labourer to join our team at 916503 Ontario Inc. for a seasonal position.
Job Description:Responsibilities:- Assist with hand harvesting vegetables, including ginseng and strawberries
- Weed and maintain crop fields
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, such as tractors and forklifts
- Transport crops and equipment as needed
- Work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Exposure to wet, dusty, and hot conditions
- Physically demanding work requiring standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting
- High school diploma or equivalent not required, but an asset
- Experience in farming or a related field an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including overtime
