About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at CB Canada. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise and guidance to our clients, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Manage and supervise a team of accountants
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting
- Pursuing an accounting designation (CPA)
- Minimum of five years of related work experience
- Experience working with Small/Medium Public Accounting firm
- Good knowledge of Excel, Sage Simply Accounting, Quickbooks, Taxprep and Caseware
- Capable of managing demanding situations
- Capable of solving problems and using sound judgment
- Strong communication skills and ability to answer client questions
