Job Title: Cook (24-28)

Northern College is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at the Tikinagan Childcare Centre. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering daily meals to our young students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare meals and snacks for children in the daycare centre, taking into account any dietary restrictions or allergies.
  • Clean and disinfect the kitchen to meet Ministry of Health standards.
  • Properly store and maintain inventory of food and cleaning products.
  • Follow approved menu plans and ensure food is prepared to a high standard.
  • Deliver food to the daycare centre in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Food Handler Certification or equivalent.
  • 1.5 years of related practical experience.
  • Ability to provide proof of required immunizations.
