Job Title: Cook (24-28)

Northern College is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at the Tikinagan Childcare Centre. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering daily meals to our young students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare meals and snacks for children in the daycare centre
  • Prepare food according to allergies/sensitivities of the children
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen to Ministry of Health standards
  • Properly store and maintain inventory of food and cleaning products
  • Follow approved menu plan
  • Deliver food to the daycare centre
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food Handler Certification or equivalent
  • 1.5 years of related practical experience
  • Ability to provide proof of required immunizations
