Job Title: Garage Door Installer Helper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Garage Door Installer Helper to join our team at Overhead Door Corporation. As a key member of our installation crew, you will assist in the service and installation of residential and commercial doors, working closely with our experienced technicians to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation and service of overhead doors, including residential and commercial doors
  • Work closely with technicians to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
  • Perform general warehouse duties, including receiving and stocking materials
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-6 months' experience in a relevant trade (construction, welding, millwright)
  • Resourcefulness, integrity, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a team environment
  • Possess a valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
  • Any relevant safety training and tickets is an asset (WHMIS, Fall Protection, First Aid)
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Must be able to work outside in all different weather conditions, including cold and extreme heat
