About the Role:
As the primary contact within the Office of the Registrar, the Academic Services and Examination Coordinator is tasked with providing exceptional, customer-oriented service in a multifaceted environment that reflects a diverse student body. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of university policies and regulations, enabling the Coordinator to interpret academic guidelines and offer accurate information to students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of university programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Address inquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirect as necessary.
  • Deliver detailed information regarding processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Interpret rules and regulations to facilitate appropriate referrals.
  • Adhere to copyright procedures when duplicating and/or digitizing materials.
  • Coordinate the receipt and secure storage of all examination materials.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in an academic services environment.
  • Proven experience in providing detailed information on undergraduate registration and enrollment policies.
  • Ability to interpret regulations for appropriate referrals.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and student information systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Training in quality service and customer relations.
  • Experience within the Office of the Registrar and familiarity with academic services.
  • Knowledge of student ticketing systems.
