Farm Operations Manager

Millennium Farm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our agricultural operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our farm.
Key Responsibilities:- Mixing and applying fertilizers to promote healthy crop growth
- Pruning and shaping trees and plants to maintain optimal yields
- Weeding and maintaining crop quality
- Managing financial and production records to inform decision-making
- Providing agricultural services such as plowing, irrigating, and harvesting
- Coordinating and supervising the work of farm workers and harvesting laborers
- Ensuring compliance with farm safety and bio-security procedures
- Maintaining quality control and production records
- Supervising crop-related operations and maintaining work records and logs
- Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide guidance and support to farm workers
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 40 hours per week
