About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at Talbot Arm Motel Limited. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and cleaning the counter area.
  • Process Reservations and Take-out Orders: Accept reservations, take-out orders, and provide accurate information to customers.
  • Handle Customer Complaints: Listen to customer concerns, respond promptly, and resolve issues in a fair and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Team Player: A positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to work as part of a team are necessary.
  • Reliability: A high level of reliability and punctuality is expected.
Working Conditions
  • Fast-Paced Environment: This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Standing for Extended Periods: Prolonged standing is required for this role.
