Job Summary

We are seeking a Student Practice Manager to develop and manage a centralized resource allocation system, ensuring equitable and efficient distribution of work and growth opportunities to summer and articling students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement systems to track student workloads and quality
  • Establish best practices for work allocation and resource management
  • Deliver training on docketing and practice management to students
  • Meet with students and lawyers to optimize resourcing and delegate tasks
  • Provide input on student resourcing and capacity levels for annual intake, rotation planning, and recruitment initiatives
Requirements

This role requires an undergraduate degree and at least 5 years of experience in a large law or professional services firm, or a law degree with experience practicing in a large law firm and a willingness to develop management and program implementation skills.
