Electrical Project Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer or Technologist to join our team in Prince George, BC. As a key member of our Automation & Digitalization division, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions that improve plant productivity, reliability, and sustainability for our North American customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit industrial facilities and develop preliminary engineering designs and estimates for electrical and control system upgrades.
  • Design, program, and configure DCS and PLC/HMI applications.
  • Prepare and evaluate tender and construction packages, including electrical and instrumentation drawings, installation specifications, and other supporting documentation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or technology diploma in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in industrial automation engineering; preferably in Pulp & Paper.
  • Registered (or eligible for registration) with EGBC or ASTTBC.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Authorized to work lawfully in Canada.
  • Ability and willingness to travel (10-20%) to domestic and international sites.

Salary range: $85,000 to $120,000 based on a work week. We offer a competitive compensation package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
