Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our Winter Works team at Colas. As a Snow Plow Operator, you will be responsible for operating a loader and performing maintenance duties such as patrolling, patching, and minor equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a loader and perform maintenance duties as required
  • Patrol and maintain roads and highways to ensure safe travel conditions
  • Perform minor equipment maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Work assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays, as winter events require
  • Work in extreme weather conditions
Requirements
  • DZ or AZ license with a clean driver's abstract required
  • Ability to respond to call-ins within thirty minutes
  • Previous experience in winter-works operations preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to equipment as required
  • Good understanding of MTO standards and AMC Contract Performance Requirements
