The Role: Data Quality Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Quality Specialist to join our team and contribute to our mission of building a data-driven culture. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in implementing data quality initiatives and driving continuous improvement across the organization.

  • Lead Cross-Functional Initiatives: Collaborate with diverse teams to develop and execute data quality strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Shape Data Quality Roadmap: Contribute to the strategic direction of our data quality program, identifying opportunities for innovation and enhancement.
  • Develop Resources and Training: Create compelling communication materials, training programs, and documentation to foster a data-quality conscious environment.
  • Measure and Monitor Data Quality: Design and implement data quality scorecards and metrics to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and demonstrate the impact of our efforts.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with stakeholders across departments to understand their data needs, address challenges, and ensure successful implementation of data quality solutions.
  • Provide Mentorship and Support: Share your expertise and guide colleagues in best practices for data quality management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, or Data Analysis.
  • Proven understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL, BPMN, and REST API.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
